My name is Seth Moore, and I build custom guitars in Arkansas under the name Batson Guitar, driven by a simple philosophy: every instrument should have a story, a soul, and the potential to be treasured for generations.
Each guitar begins with carefully selected, locally sourced wood chosen for its character, beauty, and unique voice. I have a deep appreciation for giving materials a second life, and whenever possible, I repurpose old wood and forgotten pieces into something new and meaningful. I believe that the history within the materials becomes part of the instrument itself.
My goal is not just to build guitars but to create heirlooms—pieces that will be played, loved, and passed down through families for years to come. Every detail is crafted with care, from the selection of the wood to the final setup, ensuring each custom guitar is as unique as the musician who plays it. I strive to help you craft your sound with an instrument that resonates with your musical journey.
Music has been a lifelong passion of mine. I've been playing guitar for more than 40 years, and that passion began at a young age. As both a player and a builder, I understand the connection between an instrument and the person holding it. That understanding guides every guitar I create, whether it's a custom guitar or a bass.
